Boy's New Trick

'Boy', in Shanghai, has been in training.

(sorry, any ads which appear are nothing to do with me.
I think the second video is free of them.)

A few days later...

Somehow I don't think that Sparky and Millie would be up for this.

Double trouble!

They'd rather be outside hunting defenceless little critters
they work as a pair
although Sparky gets first choice of which bits to eat...

  1. My cat has his own life. He would snatch that ball and run, chin high, to put it in his secret stash under Laura's bed. Then he'd be back for the cups.

    1. Joanne, I can just picture it!

'Boy' seems quite unaware that he is a cat - Sparky and Millie seem like complete and utter hooligans in comparison. He was 'saved' from a Shanghai pet shop, so I guess he didn't have a great start in life; he is now pampered and adored, his ailments have been treated, life is good.

    1. He also understands Mandarin/English and has learnt to walk on a lead (he is a city boy, no garden - but he needs the sunshine to help with skin problems). Definitely a smart cat!

    1. I think Jonathan could get him to do almost anything, with time and patience.

  4. Have just come over from 'Pear Tree Log' so my comment is about that.... (Oh Elaine, it makes me cross as well when this thing happens. I had it happen to me a couple of years ago, only this unsavoury site was copying comments as well and posting them on theirs. I was so mad that I pulled my original blog down and changed the name, but it all makes unnecessary work. So whoever it is I hope they stop soon.) Love your pictures. Love Molly xx

  5. HelLo Molly, It was a real shock - and now that I have found four blogs which have taken my posts and used them, with all the photographs, as their own... Blogger is, of course, not exactly the most helpful at sorting things out. I hope you are well, I have missed your posts. xx
